Job Description

We are searching for a driven, detail-oriented Social Media Manager to create and manage several social media accounts. Besides creating and managing marketing content, you will also track and analyze results of your marketing efforts, reach out to and communicate with potential clients, collaborators and partners. You should also be able to quickly learn to work on new programs and software solutions and be collaborative and passionate about your profession.

Responsibilities

Plan, create and publish great content

With input you get from clients and colleagues, perform research, plan, and create novel content for publishing on social media. This includes marketing copy and content for landing pages and posting on major social media platforms.

Creating visuals and short video

Create nice looking photos and images (don't worry we have a lot of software with pre-made templates). Also, you'll be creating short marketing videos and videos for inbound marketing (also, templates :)).

Analyzing results

Constantly analyze your marketing efforts and make decisions to improve and optimize content you create.

Repurposing content

Repurposing internal and external content to new platforms, for example convert an online course video to blog post, or use a Wikipedia article as inspiration to create a short video for LinkedIn.

Authoring course companions based on manuscripts

What kind of person are we looking for

Qualifications / Requirements

English to the point of perfection!

This qualification is a must-have and we hope that your English speaking and writing level is near perfect, or the next best thing to being a native English speaker.

An understanding of SEO best practices

You don't need to be an SEO expert or anything even close to it, but you need to know how to write SEO friendly content.

Software

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and proofing tools.

Experience in creating strong, engaging content

Previous experience in content marketing or copywriting is preferable.

Autonomy and quick learning

Comfortable working independently with little direction. If you are able to learn fast and if you have a habit of googling a solution before asking a question, then you might be the right person for this job.

Attention to detail

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.

Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills
